Meet the artists
Jay Hutton
Jay Hutton is a renowned tattoo artist, best known for his role on E4's show Tattoo Fixers. He has been the owner of Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire since 2012 and has been tattooing for 17 years!
Jay has a passion for art that began early in life, though he faced challenges with an art teacher in school who initially undervalued his talent. At the age of 17, after watching the hit TV show "Miami Ink" Jay first discovered tattooing, which ultimately changed his life.
Encouraged by his father and mother to follow a career that made him happy, Jay visited a local tattoo studio with his brother, there his portfolio impressed the tattoo artist, leading to an immediate job offer.
After 3 years working in the local studio, at the age of just 21, Jay opened his own tattoo studio - Adrenaline Tattoo Studio. Jay Hutton has since gone on to become one of the most well known and recognisable tattoo artists in the UK and has gained a huge following of a million+ across all of his social media platforms, originally for his appearance on E4's hit TV show, TATTOO FIXERS.
Jay's ensures attention to detail in his tattoo work by meticulously focusing on every element of a design, no matter how small, to achieve perfection. His approach includes balancing clarity and intricacy, using high-contrast details to highlight key areas, particularly in portraits, and tailoring designs to the client’s story and preferences.
His passion for the craft, combined with technical expertise and creativity, enables him to transform even challenging tattoos into stunning works of art.
Dan Hutton
Dan Hutton is a professional tattoo artist based in Chester, known for his exceptional black and grey tattoo work, particularly animal portraits. He works alongside his brother Jay Hutton at Adrenaline Tattoo Studio.
After multiple jobs, from DJ'ing in nightclubs to working in maintenance, Dan decided to follow in Jays footsteps and started tattooing in 2011 at a tattoo studio in north Wales. After practicing on a few willing friends, his brother Jay opened Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Ellesmere Port and Dan joined Jay as the studio manager and Apprentice.
He has now been tattooing for 14 years and is well known for his amazing black and grey and colour realism work.
Dan is an all rounder tattoo artist with years of experience in the majority of tattoo styles.
He has built a solid reputation as a talented tattoo artist, sharing his knowledge and expertise through various platforms and continuing to work alongside his brother Jay.
